Catching, hatching and upgrade

You can use incense to attract more beasts during catching, rare species are hard to catch, always use power balls and tools when you face them.you will be rewarded each time you catch a beast. Rare species usually have better rewards.

When you visit an egg outpost, you will have a decent chance to get a beast egg or incubator( hatching tools), you can start your hatching process by putting an egg into an incubator and walking a certain distance, distance only being counted when the game is on.

Each beast has a type of five elements: metal,wood,water,fire,earth, they can be upgraded by using different fruit and a certain amount of star rocks. Upgrade will increase a beast level and CP, making it a stronger fighter. Evolving will bring the beast to the next stage, from a baby to an adult and become more powerful.

Among all the stats for each beast, ATK, S ATK,DEF,S DEF ,HP and Speed are the most important stats for their performance during battle.

Here’s what they do:

HP- The amount of damage your beast can take before being knocked out.

ATK- The attack power.

S TAK- The special attack power, cause larger damage with longer cool down time

DEF- The defense power.

S DEF- The defense power against special attack.

Speed- High speed will better chance to avoid special attack

Battle System

Beside visiting the Arenas on the map, you can also battle in an online arena. Online Arenas require tickets and have less reward for a win, so battle in Arenas on the map is always a better way to do.

The battle system is a PVP battle in which you tap the screen to attack and swipe to dodge, the goal is to eliminate all enemies in the gym. For each battle player can only take six of their strongest beasts into battle.

For different types of beast, each type is weak and strong against one of other types. When calculating damage, it will cause 15% additional damage.

1. Metal is strong against Wood .
2. Wood is strong against Earth .
3. Water is strong against Fire .
4. Fire is strong against Metal .
5. Earth is strong against Water .

Avatar customization

Your avatar is a character model that represents you and is visible to others when you battle, trade, or add them as friends. You can change the avatar’s physical features as well as their clothing and accessories. Each gender has its own set of clothing and accessory styles, and you can choose between different hairstyles, skin tones, shirts, pants, footwear, and more.

Many styles are available for free, but some styles can be only obtained with coins.

To customize your avatar:

1. In Map View, tap avatar icon in the bottom left to open player account, and tap again and you can see your avatar profile.
2. Tap configure icon in the bottom left.

3. Select an apparel category from the row of options.

4. Within the category, select from different style and color options.

5. Once you are satisfied with your selection, you can apply the style to your avatar.

6. • For free items: tap icon to wear the item.

   • For paid items: tap icon to wear, and app will ask you to pay with coins before save.

7. Tap the button to return to the previous menu.

You can also customize your avatar’s physical features (hair, skin and eye color) .

XP and Leveling Up

Experience Points (XP) are points earned for catching beasts, visiting Outpost, battling, and completing other gameplay actions. Your avatar level advances as you gain XP. The amount of XP required to level up increases with each avatar level. As you continue to level up, you’ll gather advanced items at Outpost and encounter beasts with higher CP.

Medals

Medals are achievements earned by reaching milestones for distance walked, Outpost visited, beasts caught, and other gameplay achievements. Each medal has three achievement milestones: bronze, silver, gold. Some achievement milestones unlock rewards.
